Product Management &
Ownership

Product management und product ownership are key USPs of galaniprojects. As a result of our years of experience we are better at defining software products than anyone else. In doing so we are just as well working the traditional (Waterfall) way as the agile (Scrum) way, depending which one our customer prefers. Agile or traditional, we will support your product from the presentation of the first vision until the go life is completed.

Therefore, as a rule, we work on-site, integrate into your team and will enthusiastically make your product a success.

Traditional (product manager)

The product manager develops the vision together with the business responsibles, defines the requirements or the product definition together with the stakeholders. After this phase of discovery it becomes more and more important to define the tools from existing products or Xaas (Iaas, PaaS, SaaS) which have an enormous potential to save time and resources in development. Our product managers will support you with their extensive industry knowledge.

During the implementation period the product manager steers the change management of the project together with the project manager and on a regular basis transfers the already existing software modules to the stakeholders to make sure that errors and wrong tracks can be eliminated.

During the go-life phase the product manager examines and accepts the product and organizes the transition towards regular operations together with the project manager.

Agile (product owner)

The product owner develops the vision together with the business responsibles, makes the product backlog and defines user stories.

Just like in the traditional development, after this phase of discovery it becomes more and more important to define the tools from existing products or Xaas (Iaas, PaaS, SaaS) as they have an enormous potential to save time and resources in development.

During the implementation period the product owner plans the sprints together with the team and promotes the continuous development of the product

He is in charge for the budget of the product and the communication to the stakeholders.

During the go-life phase the product owner examines and accepts the product and organizes the transition towards regular operations together with the project manager.
